1、Safety Features
(1) Battery casing: OPzV solid lead batteries are made of flame-retardant grade ABS material, which is non-combustible;
(2) Separator: PVC-SiO2/PE-SiO2 or phenolic resin separator is used to inhibit internal combustion;
(3) Electrolyte: Nano fumed silica is used as electrolyte;
(4) Terminal: Tin-plated copper core with low resistance, and the pole post adopts sealing technology to avoid leakage of the battery pole post.
(5) Plate: The positive plate grid is made of lead-calcium-tin alloy, which is die-cast under 10MPa pressure.
2、Charging Characteristics
(1) When float charging, constant voltage 2.25V/single cell (setting value at 20℃) or current below 0.002C is used for continuous charging. When the temperature is below 5℃ or above 35℃, the temperature compensation coefficient is: -3mV/single cell/℃ (with 20℃ as the base point).
(2) For equalization charging, constant voltage 2.30-2.35V/single cell (set value at 20°C) is used for charging. When the temperature is below 5°C or above 35°C, the temperature compensation factor is: -4mV/single cell/°C (with 20°C as the base point).
(3) Initial charging current is up to 0.5C, mid-term charging current is up to 0.15C, and final charging current is up to 0.05C. The optimum charging current is recommended to be 0.25C.
(4) The charging amount should be set to 100% to 105% of the discharging amount, but when the ambient temperature is below 5℃, it should be set to 105% to 110%.
(5) The charging time should be extended when the temperature is lower (below 5℃).
(6) Intelligent charging mode is adopted to effectively control the charging voltage, charging current and charging time.
3、Discharge Characteristics
(1) The temperature range during discharge should be within the range of -45℃~+65℃.
(2) Continuous discharge rate or current is applicable from 10 minutes to 120 hours, without fire or explosion in short circuit.
4、Battery Life
OPzV solid lead batteries are widely used in medium and large-scale energy storage, electric power, communication, petrochemical, rail transportation and solar wind energy and other new energy systems.
5、Process Characteristics
(1) The use of lead calcium tin special alloy die-casting plate grid, can inhibit corrosion and expansion of the plate grid to prevent internal short circuit, and at the same time to increase the hydrogen precipitation over-potential, inhibit the generation of hydrogen, to prevent the loss of electrolyte.
(2) Adopting one-time filling and internalization technology, the solid electrolyte is formed once without free liquid.
(3) The battery adopts valve seat type safety valve with opening and reclosing function, which automatically adjusts the internal pressure of the battery; maintains the airtightness of the battery, and prevents the external air from entering into the inside of the battery.
(4) The pole plate adopts high temperature and high humidity curing process to control the structure and content of 4BS in the active substance to ensure battery life, capacity and batch consistency.
6、Characteristics of Energy Consumption
(1) The self-heating temperature of the battery does not exceed the ambient temperature by more than 5℃, which minimizes its own heat loss.
(2) Battery internal resistance is low, the capacity of 2000Ah or more battery energy storage system energy consumption within 10%.
(3) Battery self-discharge is small, monthly self-discharge capacity loss of less than 1%.
(4) The battery is connected by large-diameter soft copper wires, with low contact resistance and low wire loss.
